No, there is no off-street parking but there is usually space directly in front of the Springwater Wellness Center on Milwaukie Ave or on SE Tolman St (please do not park in the driveway).

Is your space handicap accessible?

Unfortunately no, there are stairs leading into the building and my space is located on the second floor and up another set of stairs.

Do you accept insurance?

At this moment, I am not accepting private health insurance.

But I am accepting PIP and Motor Vehicle Accident clients billed through car insurance.

PIP and MVA Clients should arrive 10-15 minutes before their first appointment with all insurance information and paperwork as well as a photo ID. Discounts, series, and add-ons cannot be billed to insurance.

Do you offer any discounts?

Bodywork services are often inaccessible to many marginalized communities. So in an effort to make bodywork more available, I am offering year-round discounts to community members who would benefit greatly from massage and bodywork, but often cannot access it.

There are also certain occupations that deserve a little extra healing and care and I offer discounts to those professionals as well.

A 10% Discount is offered to:

LGBTQ Identifying

POC

Teachers

Nurses

Food Service Workers

Hairdressers

Cancer Survivors

A 20% Discount is offered to:

Transgender Identifying

BIPOC

Cancer Patients

Discounts will be applied to your account based on answers in your intake form or by request. These year-round discounts cannot be combined together, but can be combined with other specials and promotions. If a client falls into more than one category, the highest discount will be applied. Discounts cannot be applied to series, packages, or insurance billing. Total of combined discounts cannot exceed 40% off the total rate of service unless stated otherwise.

I also offer sliding scale rates for financial hardship by request.

Do you offer any discount bodywork packages or series?

Yes, they can be found under the "Discounts and Promotions" when you book online, or by clicking here.

Discounts cannot be added to packages or series and they cannot be billed to insurance.

What should I do for aftercare following a bodywork session?

Most importantly, you need to drink a lot of water and rest as your body works to process the bodywork you've received. I've created a detailed Aftercare Page that can be found (here) that has more instructions and advice regarding post bodywork precautions including specifics about cupping and gua sha.

As with any health concern, if you are worried about a side effect from massage, please contact your PCP; or call 911 if you think it is an emergency.

What precautions are you taking for the Covid-19 virus?

These are the current policies and procedures in place as of 04/03/2023:

(These policies and protocols are in addition to standard hygiene and sanitation practices that have always been in place. Detailed standard cleaning protocols and procedures are available upon request.)

On the day of your treatment, please refrain from meeting with those who have tested positive for Covid19 within 10 days of your appointment.

If you are feeling any of these symptoms prior to your appointment, please call to reschedule:

  • A new or worsening cough

  • A fever

  • Shortness of breath

  • If you've been in close contact with anyone with these symptoms or anyone who has been diagnosed with Covid-19 in the last 10 days

A face mask will be worn at all times by the therapist.

Face masks are optional for clients. One can be provided upon request.

Gloves can be worn by therapist at the request of the client.

Extended time has been added between sessions to ensure thorough cleaning and disinfecting of the practice space. This includes (but is not limited to) sanitizing all hard and soft surfaces and airing out the space. Detailed Covid-19 cleaning protocols and procedures are available upon request.

A HEPA air purifier will be used while in session. They have been shown to effectively catch particles the size of the Covid-19 virus and are beneficial when used during prolonged exposure in a healthcare setting.
